Professional Development

Financial personnel at all levels deserve an appropriate level of professional development as is necessary. Developing your financial staff not only supports your organization but it also helps the development of critical thinking skills and increases the knowledge base of your staff, enabling them to progress in their profession. This is especially important in geographic locations that lack adequate training and support systems.

The Constantakis Consulting Group can support the initial and ongoing development of financial staff through one-on-one professional development sessions as well as through workshops dedicated to small groups of non-profit and NGO financial professionals as described below:

Professional development for financial personnel

We are available to provide extensive customized professional development to bookkeepers, fiscal managers and senior financial staff worldwide. We also provide individual trainings for any staff member as their role in the organization contributes to functioning of or uses the reports and resources in the organization’s financial systems.

A professional development engagement typically will include the evaluation of financial systems thereby providing the financial personnel with the training and providing the organization a review of its systems with recommendations for improvement.

Workshops for small groups

We are available to provide intensive, interactive financial management workshops to small groups of financial personnel from a single non-profit or NGO, or small groups of individuals from a variety of non-profits and NGOs. Workshops may be customized dependent upon the needs of the organization(s) participating.

We are also available for financial training for small groups of organizational or individual recipients of grants. These workshops are customized based on the reporting requirements of the granting agencies and is typically done for granting agencies. These workshops are geared, in general, towards non-financial personnel and focused on grant maker requirements for funded projects.
